Dr. Ray Baule is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders affecting the spinal column, spinal cord, brain, nervous system, and peripheral nerves. He is particularly skilled in performing tube-based spinal procedures with incisions typically less than one inch, as well as motion-preserving spinal techniques. Dr. Baule offers minimally invasive treatments for many common neck and back disorders.

Dr. Baule earned his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1992. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center and pursued fellowships in complex spinal reconstruction at the University at Buffalo Erie County Medical Center and neurotrauma at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Previously, Dr. Baule practiced in North Carolina and served as an Associate Professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
