Dr. Babu’s medical journey began at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences in Bangalore, India, where he trained under distinguished neurosurgeons, including Dr. Richard Rovit, Professor Madjid Samii, and Dr. Peter Jannetta. He completed his residency at NYU Medical Center and pursued fellowships in microvascular decompression at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and skull base surgery in Hannover, Germany. Additionally, he received advanced training at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Babu currently serves as the Director of Neurosurgery at the Bronxcare System and is a member of the board of directors for the Facial Pain Association.
